According to Tunelab, Gilby Clarke has left the band Rock Star
Supernova. Lukas Rossi, who became the band's singer after winning the
CBS reality show Rock Star: Supernova last summer, says that the band
will change its name and are writing for a new album.

So, who's left? Rossi, Tommy Lee, the guy who replaced Jason Newsted
on bass (what's his name?), and whoever replaces Clarke. Many people
predicted that this band would not last for more than one album.
Depending on how you look at it, you could say those people were
either right or wrong.

Speaking of which, the self-titled album "Rock Star Supernova" has
sold less than 56,000 copies in the U.S.

How about Dilana?

Well, the question speaks for itself.

Will RockStar be back again this year?

Dilana was a force of nature. Lukas definitely had his moments, I would
have had him at a solid #2, but I can't believe they had the opportunity to
choose Dilana and passed it up.

I don't know, but they should have Van Halen perpetually on call.

It doesn't look likely. By this time last year they were holding
auditions; nothing like that seems to be happening as of now. Also,
Mark Burnett is being sued by a woman who claims that he stole her
idea for the show. Also, Dave Navarro (who was executive producer last
season) is pissed off at Burnett and Sony for failing to promote the
RSS album. It's not looking good.

That's another mess. VH was supposed to tour this summer with David
Lee Roth, but the tour has been cancelled, and now Eddie Van Halen's
in rehab.

They'd better get this resolved. I need my RS fix! It's a much
better show than AI, IMO. Better music, better singers.

Yeah Gilby! I KNEW he couldn't tolerate Lukas for too long. That decision
was primarily TLee's.

And how long do you think he could tolerate TL?

Just slightly longer than Lukas, but not by much! They really blew it by not
grabbing Dilana. THAT would have been something to at least capture your
attention once or twice. Interestingly, they just started to play "Headspin"
on VH1 Top 20 countdown about a month ago. LOL!
